          Janet Laura Scott (1888-1968) was an illustrator and landscape artist. She was known for her work with the PF Volland publishing company and later, as a prominent regional watercolorist in Maine.

          Scott was born in Wisconsin, but her formative years were spent in Illinois, where she attended the Art Institute of Chicago.

          She spent a year abroad in Munich, returning just before the outbreak of WWI, and began her career as a commercial artist.

          Janet Paterson Frame ONZ CBE (28 August – 29 January ) was a New Zealand author.

          She produced greeting card and picture book illustrations for the PF Volland, which specialized in "Sunny" picture books, ones that told happy stories to children.
