          Amanda Villanueva: A journey in finding her true self

          After graduating college and finishing her notable UAAP stint at Adamson University, Amanda Villanueva admitted getting “lost and overwhelmed” along the way, not knowing what to do that lead her to dig deeper into herself and eventually find her path.

          The previous Lady Falcons Open Spiker immediately joined the PLDT Home Fibr Hitters after earning her Psychology degree, in which she was teamed with well-known players like Alyssa Valdez.

          However, even though their team was on a series of victories, she wanted more to up her game in life.

          “I thought that I’ve been playing for 8 consecutive years already and what I did was to train all the time.

          [So] I wanted something new out of my life and I wanted to challenge myself in a different setting,” Villanueva said.
