Archimedes was a very smart man that loved to learn.
He traveled to Alexandria to study in Egypt and when he came back to Syracuse, he was working for the king. He helped the king, solved many of the king's problems, and stood by the king's side.
Archimedes discovered the relation between the surface and volume of a sphere.
This was his greatest discovery. Archimedes was in love with curves.
When did archimedes die
He had mastered straight lines with 2D and 3D figures. He needed something more challenging. Archimedes was the first person to calculate and prove formulas for finding the volume of a sphere.
